Halloween Night - Time To Get Busy

It's that time of the year again. Halloween is right at our doorstep. I always made costumes for my kids. They are just to much money for a one night event in which by the end of the night the kids go to bed mad because they could not stay out longer.

It is a tiring process. Going door to door and not to mention the walking. Nine times out of ten it will be freezing outside as well. So make sure you have jackets with you.

Most people are really nice and don't mind the kids running to the door by cutting through there nicely cut grass and fresh flowers. While others will tell you to us driveway and stay off grass. I have even seen some people putting signs in there yard.

After all that walking and telling the kids not to eat any of there candy you still have to get supper done, give kids a bath in which if you used the hair color spray or face paint takes ridiculously long to get off, you tell kids no candy, and try and get them to go to sleep.

Your night is still not over. You have to do supper dishes, lay out school clothes, take a shower,  eat, and then the task of checking all there candy. By this time you are completely exhausted.

So needless to say Halloween night with children is a job all in itself. No matter how much planning you do it will not help. Things never went to plan for me Halloween night. So you just have to take a deep breath and say to yourself "one night a year I can do it".

So good luck from all of us at Baby Diapers Online.  Please feel free to share your experiences as well.
